Visitor Centre

The Visitor Centre is an information and starting point for excursions, as well as a reference point for the organisation of guided tours of the Reserve both for individuals and school groups.

It is located at the France Prešeren Multipurpose Cultural Centre in Bagnoli della Rosandra - Boljunec, at the entrance to the valley. The museum offers an in-depth look at the natural and historical themes of the area. The facility includes dioramas, pictures and films that allow you to see the Reserve in all its historical-cultural, naturalistic and conservation aspects.

How to reach us

Rosandra Valley lies in the municipality of San Dorligo della Valle - Dolina, in the province of Trieste and can be reached:

- by bus from Trieste: n. 40 or 41, get off at Bagnoli della Rosandra - Boljunec Visitor's Centre;

- by car from Trieste: on the SS202 freeway or the A4 highway, leave at San Dorligo della Valle - Dolina/Grandi Motori, continue to the roundabout, turn left towards Bagnoli della Rosandra- Boljunec;

- from Slovenia: A1 highway, leave at Kozina, head towards Pesek and follow the signs to Dolina and Bagnoli della Rosandra - Boljunec or leave at Kastelec and head towards Socerb, Prebeneg, Dolina and Bagnoli della Rosandra - Boljunec.
